Defensive Tactics Instructor: (5 days) The Police Defensive Tactics Instructor Course is structured to teach the student the root elements and understanding of defensive tactics and subject control. This course will establish the foundation of principles and core techniques needed to build an effective system of empty hand control for the Police Officer. Students will leave the course with training techniques and knowledge that is needed to instruct their fellow Officers in the proper application of the human body in conflict. These techniques are vital to the safety of your Officers during contact with suspects to provide a means of de-escalation and self-defense.
