Supervisory: (1-2 days) These courses are designed to train your department supervisors in the leadership skills needed to be an effective leader. Leadership must be learned, most training falls short of delivering the information needed to develop you as a leader. Good leaders are the backbone of effective policing, individuals work more for leaders they respect. Rank doesn’t earn the respect of the troops, knowing how to lead and displaying the traits of a good leader will earn the respect needed to accomplish any mission or task presented. Pride, efficiency and effectiveness are born from good leadership. You must be your best if you are to deliver the best service to your Officers, Department and Community.
